Jonaldinho writes The Annual General Meeting of the Derbyshire County Pool Association will take place at 6:00pm on Sunday 25th January 2009 at the Corn Exchange Snooker Club on Albert Street in Derby city-centre (post-code DE1 2DS).
The Secretary's position will be open for election as per constitution, and Jon Shapland will be re-standing.
Proposals for office or constitutional change should be submitted in writing to the Secretary, complete with the signatures of the proposer and seconder, by no later than 21st January 2009.
Immediately following the AGM (but not before 7:00pm), the Derbyshire County Pool Association will also be holding a separate meeting purely to do with its Inter-league competition.
Voting rights will limited to teams that completed the 2008 season who are are rejoining the Derbyshire Inter-league for 2009 as follows: one vote per delegate in attendance, up to a maximum of two votes per team, with the Sectretary casting a deciding vote in the event of a tie.
The Inter-league meeting is an open meeting however - everyone is welcome; any new leagues/teams interested in joining the Derbyshire Inter-league are particularly encouraged to attend.
